Concrete mixer

The concrete mixer is a specialized machine for uniformly mixing cement, aggregates, additives, and water to prepare concrete.

Composition Structure
Feeding device: Composed of a hopper, feeding frame, and hopper lifting system, its main function is to feed various materials into the mixer in a certain proportion and order.
Mixing mechanism: This is the core part of the mixer, and its main function is to mix materials such as sand, stone, cement, water, and additives added to the mixing drum into homogeneous concrete.
Water supply system: Used to supply an appropriate amount of water to the mixing drum to meet the needs of concrete mixing. Common water supply methods include siphon-type water tank quantitative water supply, turbine flow meter quantitative water supply, etc.
Discharge mechanism: Generally divided into three forms: pneumatic, manual, and motorized, used to discharge the mixed concrete from the mixing drum.
Working Principle
Self-falling mixer: By rotating the drum body, a portion of the materials is lifted to different heights, and then the materials fall freely under their own weight and mix with each other. Due to the different falling times, falling points, and rolling distances of the materials, the particles interlace and flip with each other to achieve uniform mixing.
Forced mixer: Mixing is carried out by the rotation of blades inside the drum. When blades at different angles and positions pass through the material layer, they stir and force the materials to produce circumferential, radial, and vertical movements. The space after the blades is filled with materials that have been flipped over by the blades, materials from both sides, and materials pushed over by adjacent blades. This shear displacement generated between the materials by the blades achieves the purpose of uniform mixing.
