Classification of Concrete Vibrators

Widely used, it has advantages such as ease of use and stable vibration frequency, generating vibrations through a motor driving an eccentric vibrator or planetary vibrator.

Divided by the power source of the vibrator
Electric vibrator: The most widely used, with advantages such as ease of use and stable vibration frequency, generates vibration through a motor driving an eccentric or planetary vibrator.
Internal combustion vibrator: Uses an internal combustion engine as the power source, does not require an external power supply, suitable for construction sites without power supply, but the vibration frequency and amplitude are relatively unstable, and it is noisy and heavily polluting.
Pneumatic vibrator: Uses compressed air as the gas source, with a vane-type air motor as the power source, has advantages such as large amplitude, high frequency, light weight, reasonable structure, safe operation, and convenient maintenance, widely used in construction projects with compressed air sources.
Divided by the vibration frequency of the vibrator
Low-frequency vibrator: The vibration frequency is usually between 2000-5000 times/minute, suitable for compacting concrete with a large slump and good fluidity.
Medium-frequency vibrator: The vibration frequency is generally between 5000-10000 times/minute, suitable for compacting most ordinary concrete.
High-frequency vibrator: The vibration frequency can reach over 10000 times/minute, suitable for compacting dry hard concrete, high-strength concrete, and thin-walled components.
Divided by the principle of vibration generation of the vibrator
Eccentric vibrator: Utilizes a rotating shaft with eccentric mass installed at the center of the vibrating rod, generating centrifugal force during high-speed rotation, which is transmitted to the vibrating rod shell through bearings, causing the vibrating rod to produce circular vibration.
Planetary vibrator: Utilizes a rotating shaft with one end suspended in the vibrating rod, when it rotates, the conical part at its lower end rolls along the conical surface inside the rod shell, forming planetary motion to drive the rod body to produce circular vibration.
